FLIGHT RULES
Runway 08R/26L is 5003 ft long. IFR and VFR traffic are permitted. No prior permission, no slot times and no flow control required. Refer to the CFS (Canadian Flight Supplement) for the new VFR reporting points. Inbound IFR, the RNAV "Y" for 08R is commonly used and brings you down to 361AGL LPV minima. Depending the wind and VFR traffic, you might expect (or request) for a straight in. The FBO is located at the end of 08R, right onto taxiway "A". Alternatively, you can use RNAV "Z" for 08R which brings you down to 429 AGL LNAV minima. In case of ceiling higher than 2,000 ft AGL, you can expect/request visual for 26L.

Malta Airport is seasonal and over the summer months it gets very busy. From May to October and sometimes beyond aircraft staying for longer than 24 to 48 hours might encounter difficulties with parking. The airport might force the FBOs to put the aircraft in a remote parking and towing is very limited. No hangar space is available in Malta unless you are undergoing maintenance.

Also bear in mind that the airport is extending the Aprons and there are a lot of works in progress further restricting the parking situation (will last another 18 to 24 months). Whenever possible it is suggested to carry a towbar and/or towbar heads. The more notice you give the handler the better the chances of securing parking but typically June to August can be very tricky.

Fuelling in Malta remains tricky in the peak hours commercial aircraft take precedence and credit card payments and fuel releases from international fuel companies can be tricky. There is no General Aviation Terminal in Malta so again at peak times can get a bit tricky.

You can book the VIP terminal but is it is subject to availability. Business Aviation traffic is parked remotely so the passenger transit from terminal to aircraft may take 10 minutes or more. Parking in front of the VIP terminal is a rarity as the spot is reserved for local Head of State.

We work hard for our customers to secure their parking. In September we will have our own towbarless brand new electric towbar that can cater for up to a Global 7500. And for the last 3 years we have been carbon offsetting the fuel uplifted through DC Aviation at no additional cost to the operator.

Local FBO/Airport report: Azul


Campinas is the main hub for Azul Airlines, which operates Embraer, ATR and Airbus. The airport has been busy lately, Azul has over 150 daily flights out of VCP per day, which is some times challenging, since it is a single runway airport. Air traffic control is quite busy and may be quite erratic when giving vectors.

Humanitarian, Cargo, repatriation, ambulance, tech stop, military and diplomatic flights are allowed. If your flight is not one of these, we need to send a formal request to the authorities to check if it can be approved.

The only people allowed to enter Chile since the 18th of March until further notice are Chilean Citizens and Chilean residents. Visas can not be arranged at arrival, and no exemptions are available for anyone.

Regarding the passenger's restrictions, nowadays all international passengers, no matter which countries they have been in lately, will be put on quarantine.

Repatriation flights are allowed in our country, but we need to know about passenger information (Names, DOB, nationality, passport), in order to check with local authorities about health conditions since he/she has been in the country or if is not in quarantine.

Regarding fuel, it's available without restrictions.

About overnight for crew rest, an exception can be made for humanitarian flights, but we need to request it to local authorities,

Local FBO/Airport report: ARSOT Flight Support

Unfortunately ANAC released a formal statement last week that bans all commercial airlines from selling any seats on any international flights in or out of Argentina until Sept 1st 2020. There is still no indication of when international GA traffic will be able to return back to some degree of normality. COVID cases and deaths have increased dramatically this week (as some of the lockdown restrictions were relaxed a bit), the Fall season has started and the cooler temps might not help to stop the spread of the virus.

Pax/Crew rules:
In a nutshell, ANAC (Argentine CAA) is technically allowing 2 types of GA ops scenarios (last verified with ANAC HQ officials at 2100 UTC today 14 May 2020);
Scenario # 1: part 135 operations that strictly involve repatriation of Argentine nationals (only) stranded overseas back to Argentina. ANAC requires a min of 72hrs to process this special permit. The following docs must be submitted; operator's AOC certificate, aircraft A/W, registration, insurance, pilots licenses and medicals, full crew & pax manifest and complete trip details. A 14 day quarantine would be enforced on the arriving pax (crew is exempt). A layover/RON for crew rest would be allowed. Only SAEZ and SADF airports are allowed to be used for these types of flights. All other POEs in the country are not allowed for these specific operations.
Scenario # 2: in this case both part 135 or 91 operations that strictly involve repatriation flights of foreign nationals stranded in Argentina in need to return back to their home countries (this translates to ferry IN and Pax OUT). ANAC requires a min of 72hrs to process this special permit. The following docs must be submitted; operator's AOC certificate, aircraft A/W, registration, insurance, pilots licenses and medicals, full crew & pax manifest and complete trip details. A layover/RON for crew rest would be allowed. Inbound crews are exempt from the 14 day quarantine. Any official POE airport is allowed to be used for these types of flights, the list of POE airports is available on the Argentine AIP under the “AD” tab, here is the link: http://ais.anac.gov.ar/aip

A health form (ARSOT can provide a copy) must be completed by both pax and crew and presented before health officials upon arrival. A temperature check will also be done (on forehead).
Just to manage expectations, nothing is 100% confirmed until a formal permit is finally issued by ANAC and every special flight is strictly assessed by all other entities as well (immigration, customs, health, etc). This is a fluid situation and changing constantly!

To sum it all up, borders continue to remain closed except for humanitarian, medevac, specially approved cargo and state flights, and these other specific types of operations outlined above that can potentially get approved. The nationwide lockdown / border closure has been extended until May 25th.


Flight rules:
Medevac, state, humanitarian and special cargo (and very specific part 135 and 91 as detailed above) all under a special permit that has to be issued by ANAC. No tech stops allowed.

Local FBO/Airport report: Signature Flight Support SNN


Shannon is open between 0500-2100UTC at the moment. Things are quieter than normal but we are
still seeing a good number of tech stops / crew overnights. Passengers entering the country must currently self-isolate for 14 days after arrival. Crew are exempt from self-isolation but must still adhere to social distancing when in the country. There are hotels in the area still open that crew can stay at and are providing food service. Government restrictions begin to ease from the 18th of May and will happen in 5 phases with 3 weeks between each phase. U.S. pre-clearance is currently suspended due to the pandemic, but we hope to have a further update when travel restrictions into the U.S. are eased. We are accepting tech / fuel stops, medivac, repatriation, ferry and cargo flights.

All foreign citizens including pax and crew could arrive to MMTO (Toluca International Airport). However Mexican authorities have indicated that all aircraft and people on board must arrive to General Aviation ramp in order to comply health checks and aircraft inspections (this procedure takes 50 minutes). After that, the aircraft and pax on board could taxi to FlyAcross -Signature FBO. In case that pax or crew present symptoms of COVID-19, quarantine for them is mandatory for at least 14 days.
It’s required that the handler, operator or crew send us via e-mail containing all flight, aircraft, pax and crew details at least 24 hours prior to arrivals and departures. Overnights are allowed.
Fly Across – Signature FBO, vans, aircrafts and offices are cleaning and disinfected constantly and our staff is prepared and equipped for Covid-19.


Flight rules:
Private and charter flights are allowed to arrive and depart in MMTO under Mexico AFAC rules. Airworthiness certificate, registration number, aircraft insurance covering Mexico, licenses and medical exams of crew and pax manifest are required in order to process landing permit at least 24 hours prior the arrival.

All flights are being allowed to land. Guidelines are in place for travelers entering from impacted areas. Traveler forms must be completed when arriving from the Tri-State area into PBI. You are also instructed to shelter in place for two weeks.

Cargo and some repatriation flights are all operating at MROC at the moment. The CAA are working on some new sanitation procedures for Costa Rican airports because some commercial airlines want to come back in June.

Right now the rules from the government are that the airports remain closed until Jun 15 - but flights are allowed in both airports MROC and MRLB to bring only Costa Rican citizens back to the country . They will go into quarantine for 15 days. Crew are allowed to sleep on the plane, but overnight stay in hotels are not allowed. Authorities are working on the new procedures for sanitation measures for airports in Costa Rica, in anticipation of the airlines returning in mid-June.

Tech-steps, cargo flights, and some repat flights are allowed with 72 hours notice.

Guayaquil is the city with the highest number of infections. There is a night curfew between 1400-0500 local time (1900utc to 1000utc). No commercial flights operating at all. This restrictions is effective until May 18th - will have to wait and see what new Notams get published by the national authorities after that.

Open Monday to Saturday 1100utc to 0100utc. On sunday 1100utc to 0200utc. This restriction is until May 18. We are waiting new Notams from the authorities for what happens after this.

Ecuadorians and residents are allowed in. Quarantine at arrival in specifics hotels. Overnight stops for crew is not allowed, otherwise they must do the quarantine. Tech stops, cargo flights with medical supplies, and air ambulance flights, are allowed.

According to the current Presidential travel ban, all passengers must enter the country via one of the approved airports of entry - KBGR is not on this list of approved airports, but passenger flights can land at KBGR as a tech stop with a permit to proceed to an approved airport of entry. This permit to proceed must be coordinated with CBP in advance. Essential flight crew (i.e. those operating cargo flights and other specially-approved flights) can enter KBGR with prior approval from CBP. Flight crews who do get approval to enter must quarantine in their hotel room until their outbound flight. For any operators coming in to Bangor, we can help with all this by contacting CBP to arrange everything in advance.


Flight rules:
No pax allowed in, as KBGR is not one of the approved airports of entry as per the current Presidential travel ban. Keflavik international airport is open but with the travel restrictions in place there are almost no commercial flights. Icelandair operates several cargo flights every day and our FBO handles ambulance flights and military flights. We are still open 24/7 and ready when the travel restrictions will be lifted no later than June 15th.

Opening hours in domestic airports (BIRK, BIAR, BIEG) remains the same as before and we can service aircraft there but with the same travel restrictions as in Keflavik.

Pax/Crew rules:
The borders are closed to tourists from countries outside of the EEA and EFTA. Both foreigners and locals who enter the country must undergo a 14-day quarantine upon arrival.

The travel restrictions do not apply to passengers in transit, health and care workers on professional travel or transportation crews (airlines and freighters).

From June 15, tourists and Icelandic residents will be allowed to enter the country from outside the Schengen area, and all travellers given the option to get tested upon entering instead of undergoing quarantine.


Flight rules:
All flights are allowed to land and no specific documents are required. The only restrictions are regarding passengers entering the country. Our FBO is open in Keflavik and all services can be provided.

In SCEL (and Chile) the only allowed flights are repatriation and cargo. Foreigners are not allowed to enter Chile, and unfortunately there are more new cases for COVID every day. The whole Capital District is in lockdown, and there are a lot of check-points in the main exits. All airports are operating on reduced schedules, and right now LATAM, Jetsmart and SKY Airlines are operating at historical minimums.

After 40 days and nights of 24 hour lockdown, Providenciales is cautiously flexing its wings and getting ready to get back to business with a new appreciation for each and every visitor.


ATC/Airport hours:
Current reduced hours are 0700-1700 EST daily, but extensions are available upon request. ATC hours remain the same as before, 0600-2000, extensions available.


Pax/Crew rules:
While our borders remain closed until ‘at least’ June 1st, our hearts remain open and new faces would be a welcome change! Trust us that we’re smiling under those masks! Fuel stops, repatriation flights, cargo flights, medevacs are all permitted, and soon we expect that inbound passengers will start to be gradually admitted, in a safely phased manner.

Flight crew are currently not permitted entry into the country, so overnights are still a no-no, and most of our building is closed to all but essential staff. But we do have delicious catering, and one lounge with bathroom is now available for day time comfort stops. Passengers will be driven directly to the aircraft for boarding, but unfortunately our ramp staff are not permitted to help load baggage.

Here at SYCJ the airport operates 24/7 however only a small group of staff are being used. We continue to welcome those operating repatriation flights, cargo and tech-stops. Tech-stops usually take a ground time of 1 hour however that has increased to an additional 1 hr and 45 mins as there is a new system in place for paying Air Navigation fees and Landing fees. Agents are also not allowed to enter the aircraft. Aircraft must come with 10 stamped gendecs from last port of embarkation. We advise all clients to continue wearing their mask and sanitize. Take good care of each other.


ATC/Airport hours:
Here at SYCJ the airport is open 24/7 working with limited airport staff. It is preferable if the clients send their Handling requests weeks in advance so early planning and preparation can be made. Landing permit takes 72 hrs to be approved.


Pax/Crew rules:
All private flights or charter flights require approval from the CAA 3 days in advance, a landing permit (use the GCAA - 4106A form for this), and all crew and pax need to have had a Covid test within the last fourteen days. You will also need to obtain confirmation of "non objection" from SYCJ or SYEC airports if you're going to either.


Flight rules:
Tech stops are allowed, cargo flights, medical evacuations along with special authorized flights. Landing Permit must be applied for 72 hours prior to the arrival of the aircraft along with pilots license and medical certificate.

The airport in Malta remains closed for scheduled airline traffic, however, it has been kept busy with several other types of flights. We at Medavia, have been busy with several technical fuel stops, repatriation flights and cargo flights. Only retail shops are open at the moment, however, social gatherings are not allowed and people are not allowed to be in groups not more than 4. The situation is evolving constantly.

Pax/Crew rules: Malta is not in a lockdown, several retail shops have re-opened. However, the airport is still closed for scheduled flights. Maltese citizens and residence permit holders are allowed to arrive and all arriving passengers have to stay in 14 days quarantine at their residence. Crew are allowed to overnight, providing a valid reason and have to quarantine at their accommodation for the duration of their stay. All details need to be sent to us (Medavia) prior to the flight as all flights require a landing permit.
Flight rules: Repatriation Flights of Maltese citizens and residence permit holders, Repatriation of other nationals to their nation, Humanitarian Flights, ferry flights for maintenance, crew change, return to base etc, cargo flights and technical fuel stops. All incoming passengers are to be medically cleared by Port Health and must proceed to mandatory quarantine for 14 days.

All international scheduled and non-scheduled passenger flights are suspended, but there is continued facilitation of operations of cargo flights, overflights, flights engaged in medical evacuations, repatriation and diplomatic flights, aircraft in a state of emergency and flights making technical stops where passengers DO NOT disembark in line with the international protocols and as approved by appropriate Authorities while complying with guidelines issued by the Ministry of Health. Permits are processed through the Ministry of Citizen Protection and Hellenic CAA and for this reason at least 24 hours prior notice is required.

Pax/Crew rules: A declaration of a state of emergency is in place throughout Japan. Although there is no lockdown in Tokyo, people are asked to refrain strictly from visiting the airport and undertaking non-essential travel across prefectural borders, including returning to the place of residence. The following foreign national are not allowed to enter Japan: Foreign nationals holding a Chinese passport issued at Hubei or Zhejiang of the People's Republic of China. Foreigners who have stayed in the areas in below within 14 days prior their arrival in Japan. The country is reopening again. Most businesses and shops are open again, gatherings in private of up to 10 people are allowed. The country follows the strategy of opening everything up again BUT imposing restrictions to assure physical distance in public/shops/closed rooms and wearing a mask which covers mouth and nose is mandatory almost everywhere except outside - even in aircraft cabins (see LOVV FIR Notam!) Business-aviation in Austria doesn't exist at the moment. We are preparing to offer the services people need when they can travel again but no airlines are yet available.

New Zealand in general is very upbeat, there are very few active cases of Covid19 (191 as of 5 May). Although business has slowed down dramatically due to the lock down, it has been worth the effort. We have moved from level 4, which was a complete and total lock down with only essential services working, to level 3, which has allowed a limited number of business to open and restaurants that deliver or allow no contact pick up to operate. we anticipate a drop to level 2 from around 14 May. What level 2 will allow is still to be confirmed, however border closures will unlikely change for some time.

ATC/Airport hours:
Airport hours are still the same - The airport is open 24/7, however the runway is closed every Saturday & Monday morning from 0130 to 0430 local (UTC +12) for maintenance

Pax/Crew rules:
The New Zealand border has been closed to almost all travelers. Crew are exempt from 14 day quarantine and do not require a health certificate, however they must follow the procedures for PPE as set out by the ministry of health(see link below), and travel directly to their hotel room and self isolate until departure. Crew positioning to NZ on a commercial airline to operate a private are allowed to do so, they must carry a letter from their company stating the purpose of the trip and the intended schedule. It is also advisable that we (the handler)get the crew members passport and flight details, we will then forward this to immigration NZ to assist with approval and allow boarding at the departure location. ALL passengers (including New Zealand citizens and residents) will be placed in managed isolation facilities for 14 days. Pax/Crew rules: The State of Alaska has issued an Health Mandate in response to Covid-19. All international and out of state crew and pax remining in Alaska overnight are to travel as a group in transportation provided by FBO, minimize contact with ground crew, avoid people who are feeling sick, monitor their health, comply with social distancing, follow hotel rules, do not use public transportation and to self-isolate in their hotel room for duration of stay. Overnights do remain possible, so long as crew and pax follow above mentioned practices.
Flight rules: Most flights are allowed to land so long as operating company has filed corresponding paperwork(Part 135/ Part 91, Type 3 bond, APIS etc). Some restrictions do apply, no pax from some parts of mainland China are allowed entry at this time (such as PVG, local USCBP would have list of all denied Origin airports). If donation flight of medical COVID-19 supplies, and company consignee(s) is an individual doctor, nurse, hospital, etc customer must hire broker and import through broker in advance. At the start of May flights have begun to pick-up with lots of people returning or leave the country. More shops and services are beggining to open up but there is still restrictions regarding the use of masks and social distancing. All the staff is more than happy to receive all flights and we work 24/7 in order to ensure that our clients enjoy their flight experience as much as they can even with this unfortunate situation.
ATC/Airport hours: LPPT airport is open 24/7 but due to renovation works the runway is now closed from Sundays to Fridays between 2030z - 0530z until the 16th of May. ATC is available 24/7 .
Pax/Crew rules: At the moment quarantine is not mandatory but recommended because Portugal mainland is no longer in an Emergency State. Furthermore there are no restrictions based on pax nationalities. For crew and pax it is recommended that they stay at their hotels and only leave to adquire essential goods. Porto still have the parking notam in effect, which restricts time on ground for all aircraft, to only a maximum of 60 minutes (time varies as per the wingspan of each aircraft) Portugal as a country is reopening slowly, airport applies to this change as well. All kind of flights are operating as long as they obey by the restrictions in place.
ATC/Airport hours: Porto airport is closed between 00:00LT to 06:00LT for private flights. During this period only commercial flights operating under an AOC are allowed, slots must be coordinated with noise levels and the approval is pending on the traffic volume for that night.

Starting May, 4th, there is a partial lock down in the whole country; some activities like coffee shops and restaurants are now open but only as take away. Jogging and walking are now allowed; we cannot travel from one region to another unless there is a valid reason. Masks and social distancing are always required. There will be a review of the current restrictions on May, 18th. In LIPE many cargo flights such as DHL, UPS, FEDEX etc. are operating together with a daily AZ domestic flight to FCO. Many medevac cargo flights from China or Russia are operating as well. Very few private flights are operating using General Aviation Terminal. Actually we are not so busy, the mood is high and we are ready to start again!

Pax/Crew rules: Starting from May, 4th, there is a partial lockdown. Travellers who want to enter Italy have to fill out a declaration form provided by Italian Goverment and have a serious and valid reason to travel to Italy. Both pax and crew have to go through ppt control, CIQ and Health checks, whether coming from a schengen flt or not. It is mandatory to wear masks.

Pax/Crew rules: Anybody is allowed to entry Nigeria if you have your visa,there is still lockdown in aviation industry in Nigeria but by Thursday it will be over, however we are waiting for government directive on or before Thursday ,for now crew are allowed to stay in Nigeria for three days without visa, Government approved quarantine/isolation for 14 days. Crews can arrive but must remain at their hotel during transit. We have had some Private jets can now arrive to uplift they must arrive with crew only. The usual pre arrival details for each flight must be forwarded to (TO THE MINISTRY OF AVIATION FOR APPROVAL) before flight proceeds. This includes crew and passenger passport details.

Local FBO/Airport report: YUN WORLD AVIATION CENTRE
Korean Government and Quarantine keep restictions for COVID-19 such as self-quaratine (14days), self-diagnosis app, etc. Almost cargo flights that transport medical supplies are operating to RKSI at present and 3-4 airlines keep operations for 1-2 flights/per day only and there are just a few pax come to Korea.
ATC/Airport hours: 24 Hours
Pax/Crew rules: All pax who will come from foreign countries must be self-quarantine for 14days in their home or designated facilities (Subject to no systoms of COVID-19) and also install self-diagnois app in accordnace with special regulation of KCDC. If the pax decide to stay in the facilities for self-quarantine for 14days, the expense of KRW1,400,000(Approx USD140) must be paid in advance. If there are infected pax in result of test, they must be moved to designated quarantine facilities or hospitals. Crew must submit the Health Declaration to the quarantine officers on arrival and also check fever and condition. If they have no symptoms, self-quarantine will be exempted for the crew.
Flight rules: All parking spots of RKSI are fully assigned for commercial scheduled flights those are on the ground. Because a lots of airlines cut/suspended international operations due to COVID-19. In this regard, RKSI parking spots are not enough for GA & non-scheduled aircrafts until COVID-19 situation is solved. In thus, the airport authority recommend to check parking condition for the schedule at least 3days prior to the intended date of operation (We prefer to know schedule more erlier to secure parking spot). Therefore, we must check the parking condition through the airport authority when the schedule is fixed. We can obtain landing permit for tech stop after confirmed parking by the airport authority. Aircraft Certificates (Registration / Noise) are compulsorily required for landing permit in case of tech stop.

Since Government issued the latest restriction to prohibited all foreigner to enter Indonesia airport is quiet, most of airlines stop their operation since they no longer able to bring passenger. This condition also affecting us, most of our client is cancelled their flight due to this condition. As for now is only commercial cargo flight, Technical stop and some domestic repatriation flight has operate to Bali. We not seeing any of signs that government will loosening restriction since some city in Indonesia is applying more restriction to their area to avoid this pandemic.

Not much traffic apart from the scheduled domestic flights and a couple of European air taxis transporting foreign nationals with properties on the island. The island only had 5 confirmed cases to date.

Please be informed that LYTV traffic is suspended until further notice, current NOTAM is active until 14th of May, there might be some loosened restrictions after that date, but please stand by until official NOTAM is published. Regarding LYPG (Podgorica, Montenegro), AD hours of service are reduced to 0430-1900UTC. Special approval of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Montenegro and National Coordination Body for infectious diseses has to be granted prior the flight through Diplomatic channels. We are a ground handler based in RJTT and RJAA. Although airport is still open, there are hardly any aircraft movements due to COVID-19 entry restrictions. Unfortunately there are no signs of loosening restrictions.

Commercial and GA flights are down. Select airports have evacuation/repatriation and COVID flight ops. Commercial flights flying at an estimated 10-20% seat capacity the past 6-8 weeks. Hearing commercial flights having 60-90% seat capacity in the last several days with parts of the country trying to reopen and fewer flights available. Some pick up in GA flight activity and pax count started April 20. Optimism for the aviation business to begin slight recovery by mid-May. SFS IAD has supported over 10 COVID-19 patient transfers.

Pax/Crew rules: No restricted entry for any country or passenger at IAD, no lockdown or quarantine. IAD is one of the 13 approved entry airports for the 26 restricted countries from the Schengen area of Europe. Entry is allowed with advance notice to CBP and their approval, which has not been withheld to date. Based on country zone and passenger concern, CDC will check temps on occasion, but not all flights. IAD is also one of six COVID patient entry airports.

The average daily contacts of Maldivian patients exceeds the global average. Authorities believe over 100 unidentified positive cases could exist in the capital. All domestic operations are banned except for Govt Authorised operations for COVID relief. All Scheduled aircraft as well as Business Jets remain grounded. The lockdown has been well implemented. Only flight being oeprated around India are the foreign relief flight for Cargo, Repatriation and some ambulances evacuating foreign patients undergoing treatments in India. All flights need a prior clearance from the Airport Health Officers (APHO). Most Indian airports are insisting that crew must remain on board at all times and no exchange of any documents between ground staff and crew. We handled a couple of tech stops by Ambulance flights that were ferrying COVID positive patients to their home countries and the crew was asked not to open the aircraft doors for entire ground time. Other airports may insist that in case the crew need to come outside the aircraft for a walk around, they must wear PPE. Must also consider that with lockdown and grounding of all domestic fleets restaurants and catering facilities are also no longer operational at most airports.

As of today (April 20th), Iqaluit is one of the rare cities in a remote province on the Great Circle Route that has ZERO cases of Covid-19 thanks to the dramatic, timely and unprecedented efforts by the local health authorities restricting domestic passenger movements in addition to abiding by the blanket NOTAMs limiting international arrivals into Canada. Although operational, the airport has currently no airlines offering any flights to any destinations. Based airlines have grounded their based fleet or have re positioned them to alternative storage locations around the UK. EGAA's cargo movements come to life from 1900L through to around 0600L. There have been a number of North American and Canadian military movements, along with ferry flights visiting the airport mainly on fuel stops. Woodgate Aviation, amongst other services, offers a fixed wing Air Ambulance service. We currently are still flying medical repatriations to and from the UK mainland, albeit reduced sorties, due to the COVID19 pressures on hospital beds. Our FBO has also handled some private jet charters accommodating those affected by the cancellation of many commercial airline flights. Additionally, our piston engine PA31 Chieftain's have been making good use of the recent good weather to undertake aerial mapping survey flights.
ATC/Airport hours: Belfast International Airport (EGAA) is open 24HRS and remains operational 24/7
Pax/Crew rules: Northern Ireland and UK has further extended its lock down for another 3 weeks from April 15, 2020. A ban to all but essential travel to the UK. For essential travel, GENDEC encouraged to be sent 48 hours in advance of arrival for UKBF. The above information also relevant to aircrew. Overnights are possible but with very limited hotel accommodation options, mainly located downtown Belfast and offering room only.
Flight rules: Cargo, military, corporate, private jet charter, ferry and Air Ambulance flights are all being accepted. Training flight sorties are also still being accepted. Tech stops are allowed at EGAA, an ideal alternative given Shannon's restricted opening hours. Training authorisations and COVID19 pre booking questionnaires may have to be completed prior to arrival, however these will be advised by FBO, on receipt of handling request and will be at their discretion.

We have a remarkable fall in our traffic. Several employees are on unpaid leave. Norway in general is quite strange these days. All restaurants, bars, government offices and many stores are closed. People are encouraged to stay home and work if possible. Schools are closed but will try to open on full on 27th April for the youngest. Most of our flights now are Norwegian citizens wanting to come home from travel or stays abroad. We also see an increase in travel with clients that would normally take commercial flights, such as crew onboard ships and aircraft techs for ambulance services. Overall we are in good shape and are ready for a BBJ tomorrow if someone wants to come.

Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, restrictions have been put in place at Wick in order to minimise the chances of ultimately coming into contact with the disease and spread. Airport opening hours have been reduced and skeletal staff has been implemented at the aerodrome. This has had obvious effects on air traffic but we (as the FBO) have to maintain a presence on site in order to facilitate both BOWL and Offshore Oil and Gas helicopter operations as well as the Coastguard and Air Ambulance call-outs. Our main business of trans-Atlantic ferry flights has been severely hampered due to the restrictions being put in place at the borders and associated airports.

'Ghost town' is an apt description of the vibe at all AUS airports now. State borders have largely closed, (Western Australia, South Australia, Tasmania, Northern Territory, Queensland), limiting DOM travel on top of the INTL traffic drying up overnight when the AUS border closed to non-essential travel on 20MAR20. Although the Victorian and New South Wales state borders remain open, the mandated 14-day quarantine restrictions still apply from state to state, so even road and sea travel is severely limited. Coupled with the 'stay at home' messaging, and the 1.5 metre physical distancing requirement, everyone is being cautious, and it feels like we're living Orwell's 1984 somewhat.

Iceland has implemented the travel restrictions imposed for the Schengen Area and the European Union. As of 20 March 2020, foreign nationals - except EU/EEA, EFTA or UK nationals - are not allowed to enter Iceland. This advice is valid until 17 April 2020.

All foreign nationals with immigration status in Iceland or another Schengen State, or those who have family members in the same countries, are allowed to enter Iceland.

Furthermore, the travel restrictions do not apply to essential travel, including passengers in transit; health and care workers on professional travel; transportation crews (airlines and freighters); individual requiring international protection; individuals travelling because of acute family incidents and diplomats, international organizations staff, members of armed forces travelling to Iceland for duty, or humanitarian aid workers. New Zealand remains in lock down. The Air Center One FBO is open using two skeleton staff Customer Service and ramp ops pod teams. FBO Service is available H24/7. We are still servicing local air ambulance and repatriation flights. At the moment no other international private jet flights are being allowed. The Government has indicated that there will be a review of the current lockdown at the end of this week subject to the current trend down in Covid 19 infection rate.

There is a lock down for the whole country which will continue for at least another 10 days. Only NZ citizens are permitted to arrive and they must go into Government approved quarantine/isolation for 14 days. Crews can arrive but must remain at their hotel during transit. We have had several repatriation flights arrive with NZ citizens being returned home. Private jets can now arrive to uplift foreign visitors currently stranded in New Zealand but they must arrive with crew only. The usual pre arrival details for each flight must be forwarded to us ( Air Center One) before flight proceeds. This includes crew and passenger passport details.

Flight rules:
Domestic air ambulance flights, international Medivac and organ retrieval flights are permitted to operate using Air Center One FBO facility. Repatriation flights to uplift foreign nationals are also permitted. Cargo flights by operators such as FEDEDX, UPS, Polar Air Cargo, Kalilita etc are permitted. Authorities may require crews to be taken by Air Center One FBO vans to the International Terminal building from the FBO for CIQ processing and health checks. The Air Center One FBO and transfer vans have all been disinfected and ate cleaned again after each flight/transfer. International medivac flights are processed at the FBO usually on the ramp.

Local FBO/Airport report: Fireblade Aviation

Currently on main terminal arrival and departures at FAOR allowed subject to the Operator having approval to operate.


Once the aircraft arrives (for pax flight), the Border Control Agencies will board the aircraft to
- Verify all paperwork
- Do a temperature scan
- Do a COVID-19 swab

Pax will then be deplaned into vehicles and then transferred to a government quarantine facility.


Crew will be allowed to refuel, get limited aircraft services such as lav and pot water services. Aircraft will need to depart again. To assist the Border Control Agencies and Airport with their effort the Fireblade FBO is currently closed, but the operations team is still available to set up services at the main terminal. Fuel Supply is good at the moment.

Prior permission for any flight required from a special NATJOINTS committee.

Once the above permission is granted ATC will allocate requested slot and activate flight plan.

Airport and ATC open 24 hours subject to the above.

Pax/Crew rules:
Pax: Only South Africans on repatriation flights allowed subject to DIRCO (Diplomatic Corr Approval). No other nationalities allowed until the end of the lock-down.

All arriving Pax will be placed into a quarantine facility for 14 days.

Crew: Only Cargo Crew are allowed to crew rest in South Africa
Due to only Crew Hotels made available subject to HOTAC availability.
To date, all other flights have only been approved on a drop off, pick up quick-turn basis

Both Crew and Passengers must complete a 21 day Travel Card, with passport details and general declarations. This must be submitted with the relevant permission to operate the flight.

- Letter from the Operator and Customer Confirming the nature of the flight
- Aircraft Documents (C.o.A. , Noise Certificate, R.TM.)
- Pax & Crew (21 day Travel Card, G.D, Copies of PPN that will be used)

Once the above has been received the FBO Team will apply for the permission and revert.

Airport is kind of empty, airport authority with handler are now cleaning every area to avoid spreading of the covid-19. All commercial flights are cancelled.

ATC/Airport hours:
Due the Curfew by the Haitian Government 0600 am to 2000 pm local time. Airport Ops Hours is now 0700 to 1900 local time. Immigration and Customs 0800 to 1600 local time. ATC 0600 to 2000 local time. Center is still 24/7

Pax/Crew rules:
No passengers are allowed to enter Haiti. All inbound flights MUST come as ferry and depart LIVE. CREW must stay on board. Covid-19 test result must be submitted along aircraft documents, pilot licenses, passengers details out of PAP. Only The Haitian Government is allowed to grant Authorization for any flight coming in Haiti.

Flight rules:
Cargo flight is accepted. Evacuation passengers or patients is accepted. Tech stops or fuel stops is accepted. The commercial traffic at Stansted is not operating 99% of flights. Cargo and GA are operating. GA operations are still operating but the social distancing makes the customer service experience slightly different.

Flight business at ENBR and Norway have in general come to a stop. Domestic and some international scheduled flights operate, but huge nbrs of aircrafts are put on ground due to restrictions worldwide. As a FBO, only ga flights in March & April have been to bring guests out of Norway and some residents home. Ambulance flights and tech stop flights can operate mainly as usual. Also cargo flights.

Pax/Crew rules: Psgrs needs to have local residense or critical jobs in order to be granted arrival, and needs to go into quarantine at home or at designated hotels for 14 days. Crew can arrivefor short stops or stay overnight 1 or more nights in quarantine at designated airport hotel.

Flight rules: All flights are allowed as long as purpose for flight is pre approved by immigration authorities. Grounds for psgrs or cargo to arrive must be informed in due time ahead of scheduled flight, so that clearence can be achieved. Tech stops are allowed.
