The airport has been intermittently closed during the conflict, which began in March 2015.<\/p>\n<p>Except for some specific agencies &#8211; the UN, Red Cross, and MSF, any flights operating to Yemen must first land at Bisha (OEBH) in Saudi Arabia for an inspection &#8211; in accordance with the UN arms embargo in place.
