All international operators will be required to have GNSS\/GPS as primary navigation.\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/ops.group\/blog\/australia-is-turning-off-its-navaids-are-you-ready\/\" target=\"_blank\">Read the article<\/a>.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>CYMM\/Fort McMurray, Canada<\/strong>\u00a0is closed due to Forest Fires; only emergency and evacuation flights are allowed.<\/p>\n<p><strong>EGPX\/Scottish<\/strong>\u00a0Expect delays from 17MAY when controllers change to a new ATC system. They have added additional security lines to the other 2 checkpoints in hopes of reducing the impact. Only some air navigation services may be affected. The following\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.public.nm.eurocontrol.int\/PUBPORTAL\/gateway\/spec\/PORTAL.20.0.0.4.43\/_res\/3909\/A2919.pdf?APPID=headline_news\" target=\"_blank\">NOTAM<\/a>\u00a0has been issued.<\/p>\n<p><strong>EGLL\/London Heathrow<\/strong>\u00a0has been identified as the airport most affected in the UK by laser strike incidents with 121 in 2015, followed by EGBB\/Birmingham with 94, EGCC\/Manchester recording 93 and EGNM\/Leeds Bradford with 77.<\/p>\n<p><strong>SKBO\/Bogota\u00a0<\/strong>has introduced\u00a0a significant enhancement to the current ATC infrastructure by adding Secondary Surveillance Radar or SSR. The Columbian CAA issued AIC\u00a0<strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.aerocivil.gov.co\/AIS\/AIC\/AIC%202016\/AIC%20C07_A07_2016.pdf\" target=\"_blank\"><u>A07\/16<\/u><\/a><\/strong>\u00a0to cover the upgrade.
