Hurricane Milton has now weakened into a tropical storm and is headed away from Florida into the Atlantic. It will pass south of Bermuda on Oct 12 but with little to no impact expected at TXKF\/Bermuda<\/strong>. Damage assessments at airports are still underway.<\/p>\n

\"\" Here is a summary of the current situation as at 0500z Oct 11 <\/strong><\/span>\u2013 unless things change, this will be our last update on Milton.<\/p>\n

Mexico<\/strong><\/h4>\n

The Northern Yucatan Peninsula\u00a0<\/strong>is no longer under any active storm warning or advisory.<\/p>\n

The only aviation impact was to MMMD\/M\u00e9rida<\/strong> which re-opened on Oct 8 – no significant damage was reported.<\/p>\n

Gulf Routes<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Gulf route closures as a direct result of Hurricane Milton have now finished.<\/p>\n

Florida<\/h4>\n

The worst is now over for Florida – Milton is tracking eastwards away from land and into the Atlantic. Most airports are planning to reopen today (Oct 11), however damage assessments are still ongoing so Notam timings may change or be extended.<\/p>\n
