The Cricket T20 World Cup is taking place at various spots in the USA and West Indies throughout June.<\/p>\n

From May 20 to July 15, if you want to operate a flight to\u00a0any airports within the TTZP\/Piarco or SYGC\/Georgetown FIRs, they want you to submit your flight schedule to the authorities\u00a072hrs before departure.<\/strong><\/p>\n

So that\u2019s basically every airport in the island chain<\/strong> from TKPK\/St Kitts & Nevis in the north down to SYCJ\/Georgetown in the south.<\/p>\n

Check AIC 1-24<\/a> for details of how this is going to work. But essentially, if you’re heading to any of these airports, send an email to piarcoatfmu@caa.gov.tt<\/a> 72hrs before departure telling them the following info:<\/p>\n

(a) Aircraft call sign<\/strong>
\n(b) Aircraft type<\/strong>
\n(c) Point of departure<\/strong>
\n(d) Date of flight<\/strong>
\n(e) Estimated Time of Departure (ETD)<\/strong>
\n(f) Destination<\/strong>
\n(g) Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA) for arrivals to airports within the Piarco (TTZP) FIR and airports within the Georgetown (SYGC) FIR<\/strong>
\n(h) Estimated Elapse Time (EET) for Piarco FIR<\/strong>
\n(i) Route<\/strong>
\n(j) Flight Level (FL) requested.<\/strong><\/p>\n

They also want you to file your flight plan early<\/strong>, to avoid delays. 4hrs prior to departure<\/strong> should do the trick.<\/p>\n

They\u2019re also warning of extra delays in the TJZS\/San Juan FIR<\/strong> to the north.<\/p>\n
