They still want you to send an &#8220;RCL&#8221; message, which used to mean &#8220;Request Clearance&#8221;, but now it just means &#8220;Tell us your latest preferences&#8221;. Think of it as Checking In.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><strong>There are different dates when Oceanic Clearances will cease to be issued in the following FIRs:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Shanwick<\/strong>: <s>April 9<\/s> \u00a0<s>May<\/s> \u00a0<s>Q4 2024<\/s>\u00a0 <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>December 4<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<li><strong>Gander<\/strong>: <s>March<\/s> \u00a0<s>May 3<\/s> \u00a0<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>December 4<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<li><strong>Bod\u00f8<\/strong>:\u00a0<s>March<\/s> \u00a0<s>May 6<\/s> <s><s>June 17 <\/s><\/s>\u00a0<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>December 4<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<li><strong>Santa Maria<\/strong>: completed March 21<\/li>\n<li><strong>Iceland<\/strong>:\u00a0 completed March 21<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"p1\"><strong>But let there be no further blather about it here!<\/strong> We&#8217;ve done enough of that already &#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/ops.group\/blog\/oceanic-clearances-mess\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">check here<\/a> for our full post on the topic. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/ops.group\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/NAT-Clearance-or-No-Clearance-V4-19-June-2024.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Just play the game<\/a> &#8211; it\u2019s fun, and will tell you everything you need to know in 3 pages!\u00a0<\/strong>Print it out, share it, pin it on a wall somewhere if you so desire.
