When enough changes occur, we update our &#8220;<strong>Unsafe Airspace Summary<\/strong>&#8220;.<\/p>\n<p>Today, we published a new summary effective 16AUG2017 &#8211; version &#8220;INDIA&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>First up, the <strong>map<\/strong> as things stand:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/safeairspace.net\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-large wp-image-1901\" src=\"https:\/\/ops.group\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/INDIA-Map-1024x480.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"676\" height=\"317\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ops.group\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/INDIA-Map-1024x480.png 1024w, https:\/\/ops.group\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/INDIA-Map-300x141.png 300w, https:\/\/ops.group\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/INDIA-Map-768x360.png 768w, https:\/\/ops.group\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/INDIA-Map-676x317.png 676w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 676px) 100vw, 676px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>Red<\/strong><\/span> is Level 1 &#8211; Avoid this Airspace<br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><strong>Orange<\/strong><\/span> is Level 2 &#8211; Assessed Risk<br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #ffcc00;\"><strong>Yellow<\/strong><\/span> is Level 3 &#8211; Caution.<\/p>\n<p>A live version of this map is always updated at <a href=\"http:\/\/safeairspace.net\"><strong>safeairspace.net<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>What&#8217;s changed since the last summary?<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Somalia<\/strong> is downgraded to Level 2, so there are now five Level 1 &#8211; Avoid countries: <strong>Libya, Iraq, Syria, Yemen, and North Korea<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Saudi Arabia<\/strong> is upgraded to Level 2, due to assessed risk in the southwestern portion of the FIR (Yemen border area)<\/li>\n<li>French Guyana no longer a threat as strikes and airspace closures have ended<\/li>\n<li>Addition of <strong>Japan<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Venezuela<\/strong> and <strong>South Korea<\/strong> at Level 3 &#8211; Caution advised<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you have ops to any of these countries, make sure to have a read of the risk information.
