We talked about why, and what this means for ops. The CDC mask mandate &#8211; they extended it, and then <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cdc.gov\/quarantine\/masks\/mask-travel-guidance.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">stopped it<\/a>. We try and make sense of things.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Europe &#8211;\u00a0<\/strong>There are some big aviation events coming up. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aero-expo.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Aero 2022<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/ebace.aero\/2022\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">EBACE<\/a>. Get your parking spots booked soon!<\/li>\n<li><b>Peru &#8211;\u00a0<\/b>There was a major ATC strike last week. For now it&#8217;s back to ops normal, but keep an eye on contingency procedures &#8211; you may need them.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Pacific &#8211;\u00a0<\/strong>More Russian rocket firings on April 27. A slightly confusing picture, but basically two possible spots where the debris could fall, the PACOTS aren&#8217;t affected.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Bermuda &#8211;\u00a0<\/strong>It will be downgrading its RFF until July. Does anyone have info on when this becomes an issue?<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4><strong>Unsolved Mysteries<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.easa.europa.eu\/application-form-categories\/easa-environmental-portal\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">EASA Environmental Portal.<\/a> Yep. Still a bit of a mystery. Should you hear back when you&#8217;ve submitted your info? Share your ordeal registering if it can help others.<\/p>\n<p><strong>MMEL to MEL<\/strong> &#8211; Has the UK changed the rule since leaving EASA?\u00a0If you&#8217;re operating somewhere with an MMEL, have your LOA (O95) with all your Ms and Os in order and you should be ok.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>New Mysteries<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p><strong>GMMX\/Marrakech<\/strong> &#8211; has anyone been recently?<\/p>\n<p><strong>Recovery<\/strong> <strong>documentation<\/strong> after catching Covid &#8211; how can I get back to the US?<\/p>\n<h4>OPSQUIZ<\/h4>\n<p>Congrats to this week&#8217;s winner!
