{"id":16054,"date":"2021-11-17T07:44:23","date_gmt":"2021-11-17T12:44:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ops.group\/blog\/?p=16054"},"modified":"2021-11-17T07:47:40","modified_gmt":"2021-11-17T12:47:40","slug":"limited-fuel-in-kazakhstan-for-bizav-flights","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ops.group\/blog\/limited-fuel-in-kazakhstan-for-bizav-flights\/","title":{"rendered":"Limited fuel in Kazakhstan for bizav flights"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"p1\">There\u2019s currently a big fuel shortage in Kazakhstan. <a href=\"mailto:ops@eurojet-service.com\">Local agents<\/a> have said that <strong>fuel is currently only available to foreign registered bizav flights on a case-by-case basis<\/strong>\u00a0at airports across the country, including the main international airports UAAA\/Almaty, UACC\/Nursultan and UAKK\/Karaganda.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-16055\" src=\"https:\/\/ops.group\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/Kazakhstan-map-1024x585.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"585\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ops.group\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/Kazakhstan-map-1024x585.png 1024w, https:\/\/ops.group\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/Kazakhstan-map-300x171.png 300w, https:\/\/ops.group\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/Kazakhstan-map-768x439.png 768w, https:\/\/ops.group\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/Kazakhstan-map-1536x877.png 1536w, https:\/\/ops.group\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/Kazakhstan-map.png 1994w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/>Fuel is still being provided to <strong>commercial flights<\/strong> and <strong>some charters on KZ registered aircraft<\/strong>, but foreign registered non-scheduled flights should tanker fuel inbound.<\/p>\n<p>None of the airports have published Notams warning of fuel supply issues, but local press have reported that UACC\/Nursultan has <a href=\"https:\/\/kaztag.kz\/en\/news\/nur-sultan-airport-suspends-refueling-of-cargo-planes-source\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">suspended refuelling of cargo aircraft<\/a>, and UAAA\/Almaty has <a href=\"https:\/\/kaztag.kz\/en\/news\/almaty-airport-confirmed-interruptions-in-aviation-fuel-supply-and-possibility-of-restrictions\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">confirmed interruptions in their fuel supply<\/a> and has warned of possible restrictions.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Kazakhstan airports\u00a0are often used as<strong> fuel stops for flights between Europe and Asia<\/strong>. So until the fuel shortage ends, consider using alternative airports to the south in neighbouring <strong>Kyrgyzstan<\/strong> and <strong>Uzbekistan<\/strong>, or potentially those airports to the north in <strong>Russia<\/strong> if headed to destinations in northern China or Japan.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>There\u2019s currently a big fuel shortage in Kazakhstan.
