{"id":1498,"date":"2017-02-28T16:09:19","date_gmt":"2017-02-28T21:09:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ops.group\/blog\/?p=1498"},"modified":"2017-02-28T16:10:15","modified_gmt":"2017-02-28T21:10:15","slug":"week-long-atc-strike-announced-france","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ops.group\/blog\/week-long-atc-strike-announced-france\/","title":{"rendered":"Week-long ATC Strike announced: France"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>This is different to last years <a href=\"https:\/\/ops.group\/blog\/summer-of-atc-strikes\/\">Summer of Strikes<\/a><\/strong> &#8211; where we had\u00a012 \u00a0French ATC strikes, but almost all were for 48 periods. <strong>This new strike is posted for a Monday-Friday,\u00a0<\/strong>starting at 6am on Monday 6th March and running through to Friday evening, taking out the LFRR\/Brest and LFBB\/Bordeaux FIR&#8217;s.<\/p>\n<p>Brest and Bordeaux FIR&#8217;s cover the west of France, meaning this will squeeze the offloaded traffic into Paris, Reims, and Marseilles FIR&#8217;s. As usual, our advice is to avoid overflying France if possible.
