Heathrow and Gatwick almost never issue night slots, and Stansted has tightened things this summer with no movements allowed between 2330-0600. There might be a few daytime slots available &#8211; <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">best bet is to contact a local handler and they will try to sort you out. A very limited number of BizAv night movements will be allowed between 2300-0659 from 1 Jun to 30 Sep, but only for quieter aircraft (QC 0.5 or less). <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/ops.group\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/EGGW-Noise-Restrictions-1st-Jun-to-30th-Sep-2026.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Signature Aviation<\/a><\/span> has been given six night movements per month, and Harrods Aviation has four. Requests must be made through the respective FBO as they require manual approval from the airport\/slot coordinator. A few different FBOs to choose from:<\/span><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"0\" data-end=\"524\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #333333;\">Signature: <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"mailto:ltn@signatureflight.co.uk\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ltn@signatureflight.co.uk<\/a><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #333333;\">Harrods: <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"mailto:ltnops@harrodsaviation.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ltnops@harrodsaviation.com<\/a><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>EGSS\/Stansted<\/h4>\n<p data-start=\"19\" data-end=\"292\">BizAv night ops are restricted during the summer period, with no slots available between 2330-0600. This is a change from last summer, when a limited number of night slots were available.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Inflite Jet Centre: <a href=\"mailto:operations@inflite.co.uk\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">operations@inflite.co.uk<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Universal: <a href=\"mailto:uk@universalaviation.aero\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">uk@universalaviation.aero<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Harrods: <a href=\"mailto:stnops@harrodsaviation.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">stnops@harrodsaviation.com<\/a> (Harrods operate two FBOs here: <em>The Knightsbridge<\/em> and <em>The Brompton<\/em>)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>EGLC\/London City<\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Open: 0630-2130 weekdays, 0630-1230 Sat and 1230-2130 Sun. There are slots available between these times. <a href=\"mailto:jetcentre@londoncityairport.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">jetcentre@londoncityairport.com<\/a> are who you need to speak to for handling and slot assistance there.<\/span><\/p>\n<h4>EGTK\/London Oxford<\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Open: 0630-2230 and up to 2359 on request, seven days a week.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The thing you probably want to know about <a href=\"https:\/\/www.oxfordairport.co.uk\/handling-fbo-services\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Oxford<\/a> is while it takes just over an hour to drive to London, making it the furthest away of all the \u201cLondon\u201d airports, it also charges much less in handling fees. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You can contact the FBO at <a href=\"mailto:ops@londonoxfordairport.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ops@londonoxfordairport.com<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<h4>EGLF\/Farnborough<\/h4>\n<p>Open: <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">0700-2200 weekdays, 0800-2000 weekends &#8211; but no extensions possible. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.farnboroughairport.com\/airport\/aircraft-services\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Farnborough<\/a> is a dedicated business aviation airport and can be contacted at <a href=\"mailto:ops@farnboroughairport.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ops@farnboroughairport.com<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<h4>EGKB\/Biggin Hill<\/h4>\n<p>Open: 0630-2300 weekdays, 0800-2200 weekends. On UK bank holidays, weekend hours apply. <a href=\"https:\/\/bigginhillairport.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Biggin Hill<\/a> is one to consider for smaller charter ops. A dedicated BizAv airport, only 12 miles outside of central London, and no slots required. A couple of FBOs to choose from:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Executive Handling: <a href=\"mailto:handling@bigginhillairport.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">handling@bigginhillairport.com<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Jetex: <a href=\"mailto:fbo-bqh@jetex.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">fbo-bqh@jetex.com<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>EGWU\/Northolt<\/h4>\n<p data-start=\"19\" data-end=\"301\">Normally open: Monday to Friday 0800-2000, weekends and public holidays 1000-1700. Unlike last summer, no specific summer restrictions are planned while the maintenance works continue.<\/span><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"0\" data-end=\"211\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"z-0 flex min-h-[46px] justify-start\">\n<p data-start=\"693\" data-end=\"815\">Bear in mind it&#8217;s a dual-use military\/civil airport, so you&#8217;ll need PPR, but they&#8217;re normally quite quick to approve this.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"693\" data-end=\"815\">\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n<p>Universal is the FBO here: <a href=\"mailto:northolt@universalaviation.aero\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">northolt@universalaviation.aero<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h4>EGMC\/Southend<\/h4>\n<p>Open daily from 0600-0130. Extensions may be possible until 0230 under special conditions, subject to coordination with the local handler. Operations outside these hours are not permitted.<\/p>\n<p>You can contact London Southend Jet Centre FBO here: <a href=\"mailto:ops@londonsjc.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ops@londonsjc.com<\/a><\/p>\n<h4>EGBB\/Birmingham<\/h4>\n<p><em>Correct, not a London airport!<\/em> Just a bonus one for you, because outside of all those listed above, this is probably the next closest airport to London that is open at night.
